Hosted by Counter Culture Coffee Roasters in Chapel Hill, NC and sponsored by Astoria General Espresso Equipment Corporation.
The competition was a great, successful and festive event attended by more than 30 skilled young baristas, SCAA representatives, industry operators and distinguished guests.
The winner of the competition was Mr. Ryan Jensen from Murky Coffee in Washington, DC. As 1st place winner he was also the recipient of a brand new Astoria SAE/1 Sibilla donated by General Espresso.
